I did this in my Spanish class.

My experiences going to Mexico to visit family inspired this poem. The message was for me to explain how visiting family makes everything better, especially seeing your culture more everyday being around that everyday really changes how you think and your feelings. Every time I go I am the happiest ever being with family and being around my culture more than I am at home. I am proud of how I followed the rules and how I repeated everything but in the end it all came together.

I wrote Aurora Borealis inspired by the northern lights for this poem. I just tried to demonstrate the beauty of the colors through imagery. I used enjambment to stretch out the words, because aurora borealis don't move around that much, but the time spent looking at them is long.
