For these sculptures I was inspired by the traditional clothing of my home country Guatemala and my city Quetzaltenango, one sculpture with a traditional Guatemalan crown with a beautifully colored dress, yellow, purple, red, blue, black, and the other sculpture carrying on its back a typical ceramic jar from my city and in its hand a basket full of corn representing the water and the richness of the food of my country. These sculptures took me more than 2 weeks, but every minute I spent creating it was another memory that I remembered from my country, it represents a lot to me because it is a way to show where I come from and also to show that even if I am not in my country I will always carry a little bit of my country everywhere and represent my beautiful culture of many colors, delicious foods, beautiful clothes, and a variety of art.
